C’est cette nuit que s’est déroulée la cérémonie des Golden Globes 2016. Considéré comme l’antichambre des Oscars, les Golden Globes sont remis par la Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). Un palmarès dominé côté cinéma par The Revenant qui rafle pas moins de trois récompenses parmi les plus prestigieuses (meilleur film dramatique, meilleur acteur pour Leonardo Di Caprio, meilleur réalisateur pour Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu), sans oublier le golden globe du meilleur second rôle décerné à Sylvester Stallone pour Creed conclu par un émouvant discours où il remercie son alter ego Rocky Balboa. Côté séries le formidable Mr Robot s’est illustré tandis que Jon Hamm était couronné pour l’épilogue de Mad Men et que Taraji P. Henson obtenait elle un prix pour sa performance dans Empire.
